EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
In an increasingly globalized economic world, the degree program in Business Economics has been developed to meet the needs of students interested in an educational pathway in specific business economy themes and those wishing to undertake an international working career. The study program provides a complete preparation in business and economy (covering both functional areas and different companies), as well as an adequate mastery of mathematical-statistical instruments and legal system fundamentals. In particular, the educational program helps the students to develop the basic competencies for the analysis of corporate phenomena in complex social and economic contexts.
During the first year, the study program provides basic-educational activities as well as a specific subject program in order to guarantee a strong basic education to students enroled in the three-year degree course. During the second year, the curriculum provides a specific subject program providing a pathway coherent with educational goals. Finally, during the third year, the program includes electives, the foreign language test, the IT test (or an apprenticeship) and the final dissertation.
The three-year degree program in Business Economics trains professional figures to develop managerial, consulting and entrepreneurial skills in private or public organizations operating in financial markets. The study program guarantees a multidisciplinary and fundamental education in order to understand the functioning of modern companies and financial systems, as well as the main traits of the referential context.
Graduates will achieve adequate skills in economics, management, finance and law, and appropriate methods for the analysis and critical interpretation of business structures and dynamics. This program trains students to deal with specific management and administration aspects of particular enterprises and financial intermediation, whilst also considering principles of sustainability. Coherently with its educational goals, the program is articulated in educational/training pathways in order to enhance the student’s scientific and cultural aptitudes.
